New Homes

All but one of the puppies have gone to live in their forever homes.  The last little girl is going home on Saturday, her nine week old birthday.  I already miss all the happy little faces looking up at me, but I know they're all thriving in their new homes.  The last little girl is loving all the one on one attention, but I'm sure she misses her sisters and brothers too.

I'm working on an actual website and will post the new link once it's done.  :)

For Christmas, we bought a female standard poodle!  She will be our second breeding female once she's two years old and has completed all her health testing.  We traveled to a well-respected standard poodle breeder in Utah who shares our philosophy on breeding.  Our little puppy comes from a long line of champion poodles who've all passed their health testing.  She's adorable and we're having so much fun with her!

When she breeds with Dusty (our F1 goldendoodle), their puppies will be F1b goldendoodles.  That combination of a F1 with a pure bred poodle produces the most predictable coat qualities in the litter.  They're typically the preferred generation for allergy sufferers.  We'll be planning on alternating breeding Dusty with Lucy (our F2b goldendoodle) and Sadie (our new poodle).   It's best for the female dogs to have a litter every other heat cycle, so depending on how often the cycles are, we'll likely have a litter every year.

Here's a picture of our new little addition:
